SYNOPSIS
The show is built around three patrol leaders Tom,
Dick and Harry, who are to be tested for their Queens Scout
Badge (for which, incidentally, a Scout is required to hold
his First Class Badge, three "open air Scouting" badges, the
Ambulance badge and three others equipping him for public
service) This represents the peak of Scouting proficiency
and is a most coverted award.
The play also concerns the rehabilitation of Charlie,
an ex-Serviceman. This comes about through "Muzzy" a
Scout with a habit of using words whose meaning, to say the
least is, is frequently not clear to him.
The troubles and trials of a Scoutmaster ("Skipper")
who is putting on a show and looking for a producer, also
figure largely in the plot - and you will see part of the show
which Charlie has produced.
